Doug Waltman
Doug was recruited in 2007, bringing over 10 years experience to the team. Here at Ikon MG, Doug uses his sharp eye for design to fulfill the role of Creative Director, where he specializes in graphics, usability, and interface design.
Originally it was curiosity that lead Doug to this vocation, but it is the ever changing nature of the web that has kept him so intrigued. Doug earned his Bachelors of Art in Computer Graphics Design in 2005 from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Texas. Since moving to the Tri-Cities, Doug has embraced new media tools and conferences as his method of continued education.
Doug takes pride in helping clients focalize their image and increase brand effectiveness through web and new media.
While at Ikon Marketing Group, Doug has redesigned chamber websites that quadrupled in traffic within the first month. He has helped business owners in the Tri-Cities build their brands online through professional design, search engine optimization, and social media. His work has received multiple awards and he was published in “The Best of College Portfolio Design” book.
